Lat year I ran for Mayor, being 100% independent without any ties it was a strategy that I took that would give me a better chance to get ‘Bruce’ awareness if you like to be able to get a spot on council. These following videos are from the campaign. The content in regards to what these great people say about me is the same. Obviously I am not running for Mayor but the content is still relevant to help voters get to know me and what I stand for.
Supporting members of the community has always been important to me, and I’ve been lucky enough to lend a hand to Chris and the Koongamia Football Club. When I first met Chris, the club had exhausted all avenues for support and was on the verge of collapse.
For decades, Bev and John have cared for our community, preparing 6,000 meals per week for those in need. I’ve been fortunate to know and work alongside these amazing people for last 10 years, and to support them in any way that I can.
I served as board member and Chairman of Make a Difference WA for 10 years, working closely with co-founder and CEO, Ron Conway to give a helping hand back to the WA community. Through this charity, and with many fundraising efforts, we were able to give life-changing support to people who ‘fell through the gaps’ of our system.
It’s been a privilege to coach junior football for the last three years, to see the boys excel on and off the field, and to be part of the community. It takes a village to raise a child, and it’s a privilege to be a mentor for these boys.
